Hi Prabath / Johann In EMM, the Administrator can create policies (rule) which contains a set of operations such as Wifi settings, Password policy, Camera (disable / enable), etc., and assign it to a resource. Currently the resources are Users, Platform (Android / iOS) and Roles. Devices (i.e., currently mobile devices) fall into the resources. The issue here is that when a particular device is in multiple resources which have different policies (rules) assigned to it. In that case the EMM system need to assign a single policy to a device or merge the policies to create a new one. Currently we have overcome this by assigning priority (weights) to the resources (Users, Platform and Roles), and the resource with the highest priority is assigned. Currently there is no merging of policy, but in our later version we will have it.
The problem here is that a device can have multiple Roles. We were thinking of having the same priority based model (explained above) for Roles also.
