Hi, Today we had a discussion on building a person/device tracking dashboard with CEP,mainly this would be a merge of currently implemented spatial operations, [1] <https://redmine.wso2.com/issues/2649> person/device tracking example with CEP and [2] <https://redmine.wso2.com/issues/2735> Geo Fencing for IoT with WSO2 CEP.Additionally we will cover the operations such as Crosses,Intersects Overlaps,Touches etc described in this [3] <https://redmine.wso2.com/issues/1879>feature request.
We have discussed with Miffan, about the input structure of the GPS data/information and how the map layers should be handled.We need to finalize input stream for the CEP, most probably it would be a hard coded standard input stream.As we discussed we should have minimum of tow attributes which are longitude and latitude, and based on the importance we can have more in the stream(i.e speed, heading,hdop,vdop,fixed satellites etc.). And also we discussed about UI layers with Ruchira and Manuranga. So as we discussed the dashboard will be a standalone jaggery app with HTML5, which takes spatial data from CEP through a websocket and display the data on a map using [4] <http://leafletjs.com/>leaflet library with basic bootstrap stylings.We will configure the CEP processing based on the user inputs from the front-end application.
