Hi All, Following is the summary of the discussion held yesterday(08.20.2014).
HumanTask editor is to be developed as an eclipse plugin, as decided previously. So the project will be to develop an Eclipse plugin to create humantask files, via a wizard and a sole new file-creation option too. The discussion mainly headed regarding the UI design. - Use SWT to create the UI of the editor. - SWT Forms would be better to develop the editor UI. - Use a "box" model for the basic view. So as there are three basic sub elements htd:logicalPeopleGroups, htd:tasks, htd:notifications in a ht file, there would be a view of three boxes in rows in the startup UI. The desired number of those elements can be inserted by clicking a simple "+" button, and so then a new inner box(form) would be opened. In those boxes too, new inner boxes could be generated for required child elements of the ht file. So actually there would be a boxes-in-boxes type of view at the end. If the space is overflowed, the scrolling will be enabled. - Use EMF or JAXB to communicate between xml and java code.
