#2: I think the initial view is suppose to generate from an default value from the date time range ( last 24 hours ) for all users. But user can manually select a time range and a user to filter the results.
#5 Representing the data in the table with diagrams will be tricky. You can plot fail, success attempts against timestamps in a bar chart. Also success and fail attempts against IP address can represent in a bar chart as well. It's better if we can keep the table as an alternative view.
