Hi,

Up to now, Geo dashboard has following features.

Speed alert - generic
Proximity alert -generic
Within alert
Stationery alert

Above 'generic' means we have only one execution plan which will alter as
per the user's inputs. For each within or stationery alert a separate
execution plan will be deployed.

These within or stationeries can be drawn as different shapes (eg: Polygon,
square etc) which represents a specific Geo area.

User has the option of first select which alert he/she wants and draw the
selected Geo area. Here initially we are not giving the option of creating
cross or approach alerts since those will be applied to created within or
stationery Geo areas. WDYT about this approach?

*Cross*
if the spatial object crosses any Geo area

*Approach*
if the spatial object is in a specified area and coming towards it. It is
discussed to provide alerts when an object coming towards and going away.
WDYT about this.

At the time of creating these within or stationery Geo areas, we can give
the option to apply cross, approach features to within/stationery area.

Also we have to think about how to deploy these features in CEP. As for now
we have to deploy many execution plans to different cross and approach
features. Also as we are providing cross or approach capability to created
within or stationery areas, we can use the same execution plan of
stationery or within to calculate cross or approaching features as well. I
will create a new thread of how I'm going to implement it after clarifying
above approaches.

Please do point out any suggestions to improve this. WDYT ?

Thanks,
Damith.
