Hi Udara,

In kernel it has a default configuration files which are common to most of
the products. If a product require customized or additional config files
usually product itself maintain a separate configuration files and will be
replaced during feature installation time using p2 touchpoints. As a
reference you can check the bin.xml of a given product [1].
