Hi All,
(This is relevant to mail thread "[Architecture][AppM][AppFactory][AS] AppM
Discovery of WebApps from As ")

I would like to propose the User Interface enhancement to App Manager so
that the applications can be discovered from the AS. Please refer
attachment [1].

** The App Manager super admin creates number of application server aliases
providing the Host:Port pair and user credentials (User Name and Password).
The identity given should have relevant permission to list the applications
on the AS side. Please see "Adding New Application Config" in [1]

** The Publisher will get new tab in App Manager "Discover Web
Applications" in [1]

1. Publisher will select an available "Application Server" from the drop
down list (Marked as 2)

2. Publisher then clicks on "Discover" (Marked as 3)

3. The UI will query the respective AS and list down the applications
available (in listing marked as 4)

3.1. The listing will not show any applications already discovered and
published.

3.2. The listing will will show applications which are manually
published (not using discovery mechanism), since at the moment it is now
clear how to uniquely identify an application when it is added manually.

4. Publisher can click on the button "Publish" (Marked as 5) and it will
take the publisher to a similar page as normal application creation, with
necessary details automatically filled. Publisher can proceed as same as
manual application creation thereafter.

5. Publisher can click on the anchor on the Application name to view the
application details without initiating the Publish action.

WDYT. Any feedback is highly appreciated.

Cheers,
Ruwan
