Hi Srinath, Here is a brief update on ongoing work. - IoT Server had both batch & real time analytics samples done using BAM & CEP. - EMM release planned on Oct will ship with mobile analytics
- Now we are integrating DAS @ the CDMF level so that all DAS core functionalities will be available for both EMM & IoT Server - Currently IoT Server has some built in graphs on top of sample agents written. These are not done using VizGrammer as they came from previous world of BAM & CEP. These will be redone using VizGrammer. - After DAS integration, we will also incorporate VizGrammer for custom charts. - AFAIK immediate plan of EMM is to provide fixed set of analytics. And due to release timelines, we cannot do anything much to current EMM work. *Edge Analytics:* - Shan is heading a PoC that will bring in edge analytics on top of Android Platform [1 - Lakini's mail] - There is also an IoT Edge analytics sample written on top of Raspberry Pi with couple of sensors. This uses CDMF policy management to distribute CEP Rules (via MQTT) into Edge devices as well. [2 - RuwanY's mail] (There are architecture threads explaining both of these efforts). Once above work is stabilised, I am thinking of using anomaly detection - to identify failed sensors/data endpoints - fraud detection using sensor data AFAIC IoT will provide data for ML. So usage scenario would not make much different to any other scenario we will apply ML for. But we can definitely benefit from where ML work is heading. As discussed (& being rectified now) there is an UI level integration challenge due to various components having used different UI technologies. But we will have a solution to this problem soon[3] Prabath, Please add in anything I may have missed on EMM space.
