Hi All,

PPaaS team is going to introduce the PPaaS 4.1.0 installer to avoid the
deployment difficulties when setting up the PPaaS. This is to provide some
insight about this tool.


*Private PaaS installer activity flow*

​PPaaS Installer will be asking the following information from the user

1. *MySQL related information*
MySQL server information(Whether user needs to install MySQL or using the
existing MySQL setup), MySQL server host name, port ,user name , password
details

2. *Installation related information*
Preferable IP address/host name,preferable user to start the servers, Java
location, whether user need to start the PPaaS server or not

3. *IaaS specific details*
IaaS type, IaaS identity, credentials,keypair name , security groups etc

4. *External Service related information*
Setup information of WSO2 CEP(Whether use needs to setup external CEP or
not),Setup information of WSO2 DAS(Whether user needs to setup external DAS
or not)

Additionally user needs to add the following distributions under packs
folder in the PPaaS installer.

1. apache-activemq-5.9.1
2. mysql-connector-java library
3. PPaaS distribution
4. WSO2 DAS distribution - If user wants to use DAS metering feature
5. WSO2 CEP distribution - If user wants to use external CEP

Above artifacts distribution version details are required to configure in
the PPaaS installer conf file.
