All the valves and extensions are part of tomcat. We can show the runtime engine separately and we do not need to show the request flow on the same diagram but focus only on the core components and where it fits in the architecture.
The valve names should be correctly named. What we have is SAML based SSO valve whereas tomcat itself also provides an SSO valve.
