Hi, At the moment there are 4 DAS node types namely receiver, analyzer, indexer and dashboard for a distributed deployment. When they are deployed, functionality of other features are disabled by setting JVM properties at the server startup. But still bundles related to other non related features will be up and running which consume processor cycles and memory.
There will be 4 types of DAS profiles for the above types. Although some non-related features will also be installed once such a profile is installed due to dependency requirements, it will free some unnecessary bundles from executing when runing as a particular profile. *carbon.xml* file, *wso2server.sh* and *load-spark-env-vars.sh* files in *bin* directory has to be copied from a DAS server to a carbon 4.4.8 server to run these DAS features as profiles.
