User Recovery Features in IS-6.0
Review Notes
Need to provide ability to incorporate external recovery mechanisms for
both password and username recovery from the User Portal. This may override
whole systems recovery behavior or pluggable as a additional option.
Globle level configuration for enable/disable username and password recover
for system for users.
Configuration need refactoring to meet both User Portal and REST API
behaviors.
Relevant notification method has to be picked form users preference. User
can set/update preferable notification mechanism in his profile and it will
be saved as a user claim.
Config values and names should be meaningful.
Use json format for storing user answered security questions and answers,
instead of using a separator.
