Hi all,
In API Manager, we will be exposing an application called the API
Editor which is basically a subset of the API Publisher. The Editor
application is *run locally* in the API developers machine and is used
primarily for API *testing purposes*.
What can be done through the Editor Application?
- APIs will be created and stored in the local file system.
The file structure of the created API will be,
[image: Inline image 1]
where *<provider>-<name>-<version>* is the folder in
which the configuration files for the API are stored. The Endpoints folder
contains the api level endpoints for the API.
- API level endpoints are used instead of global endpoints.
- After creating and testing an API from within the API Editor, the API
developer can export the API to the Publisher.
- It supports API import and export.
- The API can be exported as a zip file and it contains the above file
structure.
Appreciate your thoughts and concerns.
Thanks,
Tharika.
