When creating data services for an enterprise, it is desirable to create a few data sources that are then reused by all the data services. For any enterprise the set of all databaseInstance+databaseSchema represents all the data sources that need to be created. From these, all data services can be catered for, with the benefit that the change to a data source is reflected in all data services that reference it. This is all very good and works well in the existing architecture. However, while it is possible to define data services in the WSO2 studio or using a text file, there seems to be no provision for doing same for data sources. This means that the data sources are then defined inline within the data services, to avoid having to login to the web console to create them first. Are there any plans to make it possible to create data sources from the WSO2 studio or by importing plain xml files?
