+1 top right it is not as busy as the others ones...but mostly by exclusion of the others, top left would be great if you could actually spell archiva forwards and backwards the same, but we can't so...
the other two I find myself wondering what all the dots symbolize, bottom right being that its really fast? and the bottom left just reminds me of my golf game and trees. jesse On 11/1/06, nhb <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I would like to vote +1 for the top right-hand image I prefer the top right hand image based on idea that the segmented elements above the letter'i" connote the concept of Archiva managing lots of pieces of an overall entity (whole), i.e., the artifacts that make up a project, the projects that make up a community, the communities which make up the OSS world as a whole... ;) All other images either are too similar to Continuum logo (top/bottom left images) or not as descriptive of what Archiva does, i.e., that it is a repo... brettporter wrote: > > Hi, > > We've had some logo proposals done up for Archiva that is consistent > with the Maven and Continuum logos. > > 4 proposals here: > http://people.apache.org/~brett/archiva_logo.gif > (the final logo wouldn't have the background shading). > > I won't start a vote just now - I'd just like to give this a couple > of days to get general feedback, or if folks don't like any of them, > or think some derivatives of one are needed.
