Where are you defining "appserver.home" when you use mvn jetty:run? In
my case, I end up with this property undefined; Jetty/Plexus then
creates a directory called literally "${appserver.home}", in my case
this is off the root.

OK. 'mvn jetty:run' works fine here also, but the plexus runtime has
the redirect loop.
