many parts of these are shared at the moment with continuum,
specifically the portion that wendy is referring to with the webapp
overlay and continuum, maybe I can tackle that part as well..

From that list, I'd personally, I'd like to hear more about
'Database/Persistence' and 'Web Framework'.

There are obviously some issues surrounding JPOX and Derby (witness
the recent breakage when Derby got upgraded to 10.2.1.6) so it would
be good to understand more about what technologies are in use and how
they fit together.

On the web framework side, I know it's WebWork under there somewhere,
but there's also a layer of Plexus including the webapp overlay from
Redback, and an explanation of how that all works would be good.
