Dan Fabulich commented on MRM-673:
----------------------------------
1) I didn't realize that you could click on the title, because it's not
underlined. We could underline the title.
2) There's actually 6 boxes, not 5, and that's two boxes too many. The Rails
site has four boxes, arranged horizontally: "Get Excited" "Get Started" "Get
Better" "Get Involved"
I don't think we have to copy that slavishly, but "3 Take it for a test drive"
seems unnecessarily squeezed in between "Download" and "Learn More". Learn
More could just as easily take you to the first page of the documentation, and
that could be the quick start tutorial.
"6 Follow the Latest" should be dropped from the homepage. It sounds like it's
a link to an RSS feed or something, but in fact it's just a link to one blog
post comparing Archiva with Artifactory, Proximity and DSMP. When it becomes
more mature, it should become an RSS feed, and it should be moved under "5 Get
Involved".
> hover rule on homepage makes it hard to click on "All Downloads"

> On the homepage, section 2 "Download Archiva" has a hover rule that makes it
> hide/show the list of available downloads. I think that's annoying; it's
> especially hard to click on "All Downloads" because of it, because if you
> move your mouse too far down, the box collapses and the link disappears.
> I think we should get rid of the hover rule.
