coastal areas.St . Patrick's Day Cleanup and laying an oyster bed.On St. 
Patrick’s Day (March 17th) 2018 a lot of volunteers earned their first drink of 
the day by cleaning debris from and laying an oyster bed on Drum Island, SC’s 
shoreline.They put out 638 bags of oyster shells which will be colonized with 
approximately 260,000 oysters and removed 32 cu yards of debris.Participants 
included SC DNR, SC Ports Authority, Fish and Wildlife Service, NOAA, Boeing, 
BOSCH, AMSCAN (Party City) and a large group of volunteers.New York City - May

begin at 10:30 am and after a safety briefing volunteers will move onto the

Volunteer get together and planning session.This is a very informal gathering 
of our volunteers and supporters– the later you stay the more informal the 
evening gets. It is a great chance to meet us and see who we are and what we 
do.BRING A FRIEND – if you know of someone who wants to volunteer, ask them to 
join us on Wednesday.We hope you will come out , meet some interesting people 
and make some new friends. This is a Dutch event where everyone pays their own
