Hi, My IT department is in the process of setting up ArchivesSpace for me, but we've run into a snag regarding Java. The install instructions say we need Java 11, but the older versions aren't being updated/patched so the security person won't let us use it. The most current version of Java 11 looks to be available through subscription, and I will subscribe if I need to, but now there is a concern that, because the subscription version is labeled as Jave SE 11, it isn't the correct version. With that background I have two questions:
1. Is there a version of Java that is receiving updates that doesn't require a subscription that I can use? 2. Could someone confirm that the SE version does work?
