Hi Kristine,

I’m going to put a tech support ticket in for you on this to get help
completing your installation. You’ll see a separate message directly to you
about that.

The embedded database is for testing purposes only and it’s a bad idea to put
anything you want to keep in it. The migration from that database to MySQL is
not particularly easy, so it’s much better to nip this in the bud and get set
up with MySQL correctly before entering any data.

Subject: [Archivesspace_Users_Group] MY SQL not set up right

It looks like our MYSQL is not set up right to back up archivesspace because
whenever we sign on it says we are using apache derby. Does anyone know if
there is a way to set up MYSQL after we have already entered things into
archivesspace? Will it mess anything up?
