We recently purchased a Plustek PL806 for use with Ariel 4.1.1 and are pleased with it. Cost was a major factor in the decision. The PL806 scans at about 8ppm (Fujitsu about 50 ppm) but the PL806 costs between $250-$300 whereas the Fujitsu about $3,500 - $5,000
