Now that so many libraries are dropping Ariel and so many adding Odyssey and with the introduction of Article Exchange, is it really necessary? Frankly, I still have Ariel plugging along and working great, but others are dropping it like flies. I, too, may have to drop Ariel. My computer is being replaced next year and OIT wants to put Ariel & Odyssey on a server -- I don't even want to think about it. I have never liked Odyssey and with all the new complaints, I can see OIT is just going to love trying to put it on a server as well. Anyway, it's a lot of work to update the spreadsheet, so should we do it or is it time to let it die away and simply use the Policies Directory to search for custom holdings groups?
