Lin,
You must be logged in to see all of the choices. Once you are logged
in you should see three choices under Subscribe:
- RSS feeds
- Start watching this space
- Add Space to Favourites
Once you select to start watching the space you will receive emails to
the email account associated with your confluence login for each change
made to the space.

I don't have an objection to doing that ... but I just want to point out
that individuals can subscribe to receive the update notices directly. After
you log in you can browse the space and then under the "advanced" tab there
is a an option to watch the space.
