Bengt asked about release notes. We didn't create any for the
0.1-incubating release and I didn't do it either in the 0.2-incubating
release, but I think it's a good thing to do. I've had a look at a
couple of other projects and would like to suggest a format something
like this:
Short description of release, motivation for doing it &etc
Modules in this release.......Version..................Depends on Aries
module.........Version
JPA
.....................................0.2-incubating......Blueprint...................................0.2-incubating

Hi
The Aries 0.2-incubating release is available.
I've updated the downloads pages (
http://incubator.apache.org/aries/downloads.html) to point to the
0.2-incubating release and added an 'Archived Releases' page which has
links
to the 0.1-incubating release.
I also modified the Blog Sample instructions so that they match the
0.2-incubating release and created an 'Archive Instructions' page to keep
instructions for old releases. I think the AriesTrader sample
instructions
might need a similar update - but I'll leave that to someone who
understands
the sample better than I do.
I have not (yet) tested every artifact on the downloads page, please let
me
know if you find any issues.
The process I followed to do this release is documented here:
http://incubator.apache.org/aries/releasingaries.html. Let me know if
I've
missed anything.
