I think that would be a nice feature if it doesn't add too much overhead.
As an aside - I'm working on some improvements to interceptors to follow a whiteboard pattern to better manage the life-cycle of interceptors and objects to which they apply. There are potential issues with our current implementation. It might be nice to get this a little further along before we have a proliferation in interceptors.
