ARIN is issuing a call for volunteers to serve on the 2011
NominationCommittee (NomCom).
The Nomination Committee shall be responsible for
identifying,recruiting, and certifying a properly selected slate of
Trustee andAdvisory Council Candidates to be placed in nomination before the
membership for election. (Bylaws, Article VIII, Section 2.a.)
NomCom business is conducted via teleconference. The responsibilities
ofthe Committee are explained in the Bylaws at:

The Board has slightly modified the NomCom Charter so that NomCom
volunteers are chosen by existing NomCom members instead of being
randomly selected. The modified NomCom charter is available at:

The NomCom consists of two (2) representatives from the Board
ofTrustees, two (2) representatives from the Advisory Council, and
three(3) representatives from ARIN General Members in good standing.

ARIN will soon issue a call for nominations for the 2011 Board
ofTrustees and Advisory Council elections.
We are currently seeking three (3) volunteer General Members in
goodstanding to serve on the Committee. Please note that candidates for
thisyear's Board of Trustees and Advisory Council elections are not
eligibleto serve on the NomCom. If you are willing to serve, please
submit yourname, e-mail address, ARIN member organization name, and ORG
ID [email protected] no later than 17:00 ET on Monday, June 27 2011.
Threeeligible member volunteers will be chosen to serve on theCommittee.
