ARIN has announced the initial slate of candidates, and is now opening a call for nominations to the Board of Trustees and Advisory Council through the petition process. In accordance with Article VIII, Section 2.b. of the ARIN Bylaws, any individual, regardless of membership status, may petition to be placed on the ballot for election to the Board of Trustees or Advisory Council by successfully completing the ARIN petition process.

Petition requests must be received by 12 September 2013. To be considered a candidate, each petitioner must obtain the support of at least 77 Designated Member Representatives from general members in good standing (two percent of the total number of verified eligible voters for these elections). Petition support must be received by 26 September 2013. Details about the petition process are available at:

ARIN will announce the final slate of candidates for the Board of Trustees and Advisory Council on 27 September. ARIN general members in good standing will be asked to vote for two candidates in the Board election and five in the Advisory Council election, held online October 10 -- October 20.
