The following changes are available for testing in ARIN’s Operational Test and Evaluation Environment (https://www.arin.net/reference/tools/testing/) to allow for customers to review them prior to release in production. These changes to Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP) will complete the effort to ensure conformance with the NRO RDAP Profile (https://bitbucket.org/nroecg/nro-rdap-profile/raw/0ede2b21a9103409b7d4c9c8a1894eb230b77dcd/nro-rdap-profile.txt), including:
• Flag IP addresses and AS numbers from IANA to an RIR with administrative status • Redirect a reverse domain query for another RIR's space • Redirect a reverse domain query to RIR with registration authority or to which resource was transferred • Query for a reverse domain that does not exist will return the closest encloser Questions about these changes should be sent to [email protected].
