In accordance with the Policy Development Process (PDP), the Advisory Council 
met on 10 April 2019.

The AC has rejected the following Proposal due to scope:

* ARIN-prop-266: BGP Hijacking is an ARIN Policy Violation

Per ARIN's PDP:

"Policy Proposals that are determined by the AC to be out of scope (e.g. for not 
addressing a clearly defined existing or expected problem, or that propose solutions 
involving other than number resource policy in the region) are rejected."

Anyone dissatisfied with this decision may initiate a petition. The deadline to 
begin a petition will be five business days after the AC's draft meeting 
minutes are published.

The petition deadline for the rejection of ARIN-prop-266 is 30 April 2019, five days from today.
