By my read, this changes the timetable for Implementation from "One year after ARIN Board adoption" to "Two years after ARIN Board adoption." I agree with this as the timetable for the removal of the OriginAS field from the database. However, I think the changes to the policy text should occur immediately. So, how about "Timetable for Implementation: Revision of policy text immediately and changes to the database occurring two years after ARIN Board adoption." If ARIN-2006-3 <https://www.arin.net/vault/policy/proposals/2006_3.html>, the policy that created the OriginAS field, had been proposed today, it is quite possible that it would have been handled by the ARIN Consultation and Suggestion Process (ACSP) <https://www.arin.net/participate/community/acsp/> instead of the Policy Process, as it is not entirely clear that it even needs to be a policy. Therefore, I believe the policy text can be removed from the NRPM immediately. However, the changes to the database should have much more lead time, and I think the two years suggested are appropriate.
