Hello, Zingee – Apologies for the late response, I’ve been out of country on vacation without access to emails.
This draft policy has changed shepherds since last fall, and the questions that were asked last year applied to the original text of the policy. The new policy text hopefully addresses those questions, and any feedback where it’s not will be helpful. As to your question regarding Legacy holders, this policy is simply trying to align the current business and billing practices with the NRPM; as such, there should be no tangible difference to Legacy resource holders. But how does this affect Legacy IP holders? At first read, this seems to remove the distinction and tries to force through new definitions? So if that is the intent, then I strongly oppose this? And previously during the discussion there has been a question asked at draft that no one answered, as well from Kat Hunter, which I believe is also relevant.
