Updates from ARIN 56: The draft was presented Thursday 10/30/25 starting at hour 7 minute 2 second 50 in the livestream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gvjMYs6XT0&t=7h2m50s It was also discussed as an (unrecorded) table topic at lunch the same day. 5 people who aren't affiliated with ARIN joined the table topic. Two of them also spoke at the mic during the presentation. 3 additional people unaffiliated with ARIN spoke at the mic. All 5 at the lunch topic landed on advancing the draft as written, but ALSO bringing forward a new draft to rewrite section 6.5.2.1 for better clarity. These views were captured by Eric Landgraf and Lee Howard later at the mic. Two additional folks spoke at the mic in favor of stripping the formula and leaving the text alone. One person spoke at the mic in favor of keeping the formula regardless of whether the text is updated. Note that I left AC members out of this report. They had opinions too. :) Regards, Bill Herrin -- For hire. https://bill.herrin.us/resume/ _______________________________________________ ARIN-PPML You are receiving this message because you are subscribed to the ARIN Public Policy Mailing List ([email protected]).
