Hi Lorraine,

Neither “create recipient customer” call works today. I looked at the
associated Org ID (ATGS) and I don’t think you’re associated with that
particular Org ID. I used an API key from one of the associated web users and
it worked fine. You may want to check with your folks to make sure you’re
actually associated with ATGS and/or using an API key from an associated web
user. That should fix the problem.

If that doesn’t solve things or if you need more info, let me know.

Thanks,

-Jon

Subject: [arin-tech-discuss] Puzzled about registration failure

Recently we have seen issue swipping to Canada.
Here is a request we sent successfully on 2021-01-19

URL:
https://reg.arin.net/rest/net/NET6-2607-F9A8-1/customer?apikey=XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
METHOD: POST
PAYLOAD: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<customer xmlns="http://www.arin.net/regrws/core/v1";>
<customerName>MESSER CONSTRUCTION CO</customerName>
<iso3166-1>
<name>CANADA</name>
<code2>CA</code2>
<code3>CAN</code3>
<e164>1</e164>
</iso3166-1>

</streetAddress>
<city>Trail</city>

<postalCode>V1R 4L8</postalCode>
<parentOrgHandle>NET6-2607-F9A8-1</parentOrgHandle>
<registrationDate></registrationDate>
<handle></handle>
<privateCustomer>false</privateCustomer>
</customer>

The request above returned MC-3185 And was able to SWIP 2607:f9a8:1000:500::/56
I see parent is NET6-2607-F9A8-1, everything looks right with this one.

We sent this one on ] 2021-04-12 (recently) and it failed with the error
message:
ERROR: The API Key used in the request does not belong to an REGISTRY Online
user that is linked to a POC with the authority to modify the specified record.

</customer>

We used the same API in both requests. Note, both ips also fall into the same
parent subnet in ARIN.

Any ideas why it is erroring out?

Thanks
