Depends on the remix, there have been a number of AllWinner remixes. I
believe Hans' one works fine with kernel updates from his repos. The
one referenced on the Cubie site is I believe of unknown origin.

I have 3.14 kernels booting with just an addition of the MMC driver
patch set, a lot doesn't work but it boots, 3.15 should be OOTB with
luck.
