I used a Thinkpad X13s as a daily driver on recent trip, and it worked fairly well for me.
Wifi works alright in the upcoming 7.5 release, but you'll need to connect to a network to load firmware. I wasn't able to connect to some networks, and the speeds are slow since only 11a/b/g modes are currently implemented. 11n and 11ac are planned to be implemented later. To install the firmware I used usb-ethernet, then ran "fw_update". You'll need to reboot after installing them. Headset, and all onboard audio, do not work. Some usb-c headsets do work as normal usb audio. I haven't seen any issues with fan, the laptop is pretty quiet. -peter On 2024 Mar 15 (Fri) at 12:03:33 +0000 (+0000), Nikolaj Groenlund via arm wrote: :I'm planning to buy the Thinkpad X13s with this CPU: : Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 8cx Gen 3 SC8280XP-processor (3,00 GHz) : :I can see from the "Supported hardware" list that it should be okay: :OK - Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 (SC8280XP) OK - Lenovo ThinkPad X13s Gen 1 :The release log says: :7.4Added support for the PCIe controller on the Qualcomm SC8280XP to dwpcie(4).Disabled smmu(4) for the Qualcomm SC8280XP on FDT attachment as on ACPI. :7.2Added qcgpio(4) and qciic(4) drivers for the Qualcomm GPIO and I2C controllers found on the SC8280XP SoC.
