Re Higgins--he has a series featuring a former IRA man, a British Brigadier
and some other interesting characters--I would start with an early one --I
am reading the last one --and I like these characters. I can't tell what
the earliest one in the series is but if you go online and look at
publication dates you could tell. He also has written some terrific WW II
vintage books--Flight of Eagles is one that I thought was especially good.
He has written The Eagle Has Landed, Touch the Devil, Thunder Point--so
many--I highly recommend him !
