I think that it should be possible. Perhaps even easy. I've had good luck getting Arm Slack running on several devices, generally you follow the linux instructions for the device, but substitute in the Slack miniroot filesystem. It's barebones, but once that's extracted to the ext2/3/4 partition of your boot device (usually an SD card), it'll come right up. At which point, you can mount the dvd, and use installpkg to flesh things out more.
