Nachiketa released one album including "Ekla cholo re" in 2003. In that album he changed some lyrics of the original Tagore song, but the composition was almost same. In that album it was
"Jodi tor dak sune keu na ase
Tobe naki ekla cholte hoy"--------That album was a hit in WestBengal, but some Tagore follower were not happy, as the lyrics were changed.
ARR might have heard that album somehow, and picked the right person to sing that song in Bose.
