I've been listening to Bose for a while now, with a real CD, and I just
cannot find it very interesting in a musical sense. It's interesting in
a sort of ethnomusical sense, being an assortment of different styles
for ARR all of which are done competently as far as I can tell, but
they seem to lack beauty and not to have very much of the usual ARR
three dimensional complexity. Frankly, most seem rather forgettable. I
wonder if the "heart and soul" of the lyrics aren't necessary for Bose
to be loved and, if you're not Indian, you miss out on that entirely.
