Why do we Indians crave for Oscar as if that is the ultimate accolade! Look at this: - ARR is ower own? - The movie is our own? - Actors/Directors and others who create these movies are our own? - Then why should the award be someone else's? - Since when foreigners have become better judge of our artistic creations. Most foreigner don't understand a thing about our way of things - this includes most film personalities in the west. Therefore, why should we expect them to pat our back? Have you ever heard of Hollywood trying to get a Filmfare award?
Let's get out of this panchant seeking accolade from others.
