Rawat...

Arr's voice is not heavy in the Zikr song anywhere... it is the chorus you are listening to...which has been made heavy by using low notes ... infact ARR is singing high notes throughout the song... Arr's vocals are usually effective in the higher range of notes... he has a hard time singing very low notes...thats why you wont find many songs where he sings at a lower scale.

Hope this helps ...

Cheers.

The song is come out extremelly well.

Still I feel a difference when I hear ARR's voice in this
song, compared to his other songs. Maybe I need to get used
to it a little more.

The question is: Why would he do it (to make it unnaturally
heavier)?

Does ARR feel that his voice is somewhat shrill, so not
suitable for religious songs?

I get similar feeling when I listen to recent Gazals of
Farida Khanum. She makes her voice so unnaturally heavy that
the effort shows. It distracts me from all other aspects of
her ghazals.
