he was completely overwhelmed. And I have to say the score Rahman has done for Water has given the film a whole new dimension. I couldn't have done Water without him......" "Water was the last of my elemental trilogy after Fire and Earth and I felt incomplete without it. I had to make this film. All those who have seen it have told me it's my best work." The rights of the film are with NRI entrepreneur Ajay Virmani, who has financed some Hindi films earlier. Says Mehta, "Its entirely up to him when he chooses to release the film in India.
