Back in tune IndiaGlitz Thursday, April 21, 2005 A R Rahman, who was out of action for a while in Kollywood is making a comeback with Godfather starring Ajith. Being directed by K S Ravikumar, the movie has six songs. Interestingly, Rahman has also rendered his voice for a song in the movie. It's been a long time since Rahman sung a number in Kollywood that too to lyrics penned by Vairamuthu. Rahman is also scoring music for the movie A Aah being directed by S J Suryah. Rahman says "since I was busy with my commitments in Bollywood and a Chinese film, I was not able to commence any project here. However with Godfather and A Aah, I am back here". Rahman is scoring the music for Aamir Khan starrer Rang de Basanthi too.
