He was unable to pay his unit members the daily �bata� during the shooting of his prestigious film Godfather directed by K.S.Ravikumar. This film is Ajit�s ambitious project that has the actor is his first ever triple role. The Hyderabad schedule had to be cancelled and the team came back to Chennai two days back, as the producer ran short of money! Now the latest we hear is that the shoot will resume in Chennai, once Chakravarthy is able to cough up enough money. All these years he had taken Ajit for a royal ride and finally when it dawned on the actor it was too late.
Remember that it was Ajit who always bailed the producers of his last two releases Attagasam and Ji out of their debts by paying the money to the financiers from his own pocket! But now he is in no mood to help his one time �best friend�. And the money that distributors and financiers had given for the project has been used by Chakravarthy to settle his old dues. However, Ajit is determined not to interfere in the production and wait for Chakravarthy to resume shoot. And Ravikumar is also an unhappy man as he is well-known for his quick work.
