Masoom is a song written by Gulzar.yes, it was one of the unreleased tracks, which was released later. i think it was the 1st collaboration of Rahman-Gulzar.
Musafir was a track recorded for vandemataram itself..but as the tune was same as Gentleman song, rahman discarded. Initially he wanted to include it as he felt the hindi audience didnt know gentleman tune and it wud be new for them..but alas! anu malik already copied the tune into hindi version of gentleman..and releasing same tune in vandemataram might throw an impression that rahman copied from anu malik( ha ha...)..which is why he discarded it.

even i came accross the masoom album.....the cd though!!!it was amazing!! it had arr's 3 songs frm vande mataram(ma tuje salam,gurus of peace and only u) and other songs said by smart guy! wat i loved was tht the 'only u' song is different frm the original version!!! its a bit longer.....and real sexy!!!the only place i was dissapointed was in the middle of the song....after a particular interlude...thses 3 bass guitar notes r played in the original song....tht's missin in this version! else the mix and everythin else is awesome!!!
this guy rocks big time and is gonna rule 4 bout 10 more yrs!!!! so loads xpected frm him....wish him luck 4 the future......
