Here's what Rajeev Vijayakar a self confessed fan of Anu Malik and Himesh Reshmaiyaya has to say on Bose:

"Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose - The Forgotten Hero
Times Music, Rs 55

It is Ghoomparani... that is the albums ace. Sung by Sapna Mukherjee and Pt. Satyanarayan Misra, it stands out musically as well as vocally and for Sapna, it is evolution (and revelation) time. Sonu-Anu Srirams Desh ki mitti... connects to the psyche. But the rest of the songs are too electronic and Rehman-esque for the timeframe and ethos of the film, which includes the many thematic pieces, the Bengali reworks and the lead track Azaadi.... Wonder why Rehman cannot be thematically apt and create an atmosphere with his music, instead of giving a very millennium sound? This is average fare that could have been superlative. "

Electronic and Bose?????  I know people are entitled to their opinions but this is as jaundiced and prejudiced as they can get. Am surprised that the massive Czech film orchestra weren't loud enough to make their presence felt for good ole Vijayakar.
