The unparalleled music maestro is now touring the UK for the first time ever on 30 July 2005 at Wembley Arena Pavilion. For the first time in the history of musical concerts, a live 3D concert where audiences will be handed 3D glasses to transport them into a musical galaxy, where they will be able to `virtually' reach out to their favourite stars. Over the years A R Rahman has crossed the shores to globally catch the pulse of music aficionados from both sides of the Atlantic, with his unique blend of panache, matchless flair of soundscapes and musical exotica. He was the mastermind behind the compositions of the hit Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Bombay Dreams and is currently working on the musical score for the yet to be launched Lord of the Rings musical. In the Sub Continent, he is the undisputed king of music and has delivered some of the biggest film soundtracks including Dil Se, Taal, Lagaan which remain timeless gems. The concert will be interspersed with a unique combination of eclectic and dynamic musical acts by some of the leading and sensational musical artists from the Sub Continent including Daler Mehndi, Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan, Alka Yagnik and Sadhna Sargam to create an incomparable bouquet of talent.
