Dear Stylegamer,

I'm not denying that ARR is a driving force in indian
cinema then and still is and yes i remember everything
that you are saying. Tough i agree that Aasai was a
much better film, i would not say that Vaali was not
good. SJ Suryah was in fact an assistant to director
Vasanth, so to follow in their mentor's path is
normal.
Those days are diffrent, we can't expect things to be
the same forever... changes happen. If you say tamil
cinema is now stuck in a monotonous rut what about
hindi cinema. It's nothing but a flesh and skin-fest
show thats not only degrading indian cinema but offers
no purpose to the story telling process and nothing to
the creativity of the films. I'm not saying all films
but the good films in hindi is also very less. Not to
mentioned the songs which is even worse. The situation
is nothing diffrent in hindi or tamil films, it comes
to the same thing. This is not about hindi or tamil
films or whatever state it is, all i'm saying is that
there are good director's who strive for quality and
also commercial director's like SJ Suryah who makes
entertaining movies, thats all. Each are good in their
own way and have their own unique style.
