Dear All ,
YES !!! i really hated it . the first time i heard the song of "the Rising " , i felt very much disappointed . I said to myself " How cud he ?? "
BUT THEN , yes , the music of the movie started growing on me on repeated hearing . Now , the music keeps on playing in my mind . its gr8 songs .
I liked "me wari me wari " mujra very much
Then the muslim song " maula " was really special .
Rasiya had a special emotion wrapped around it .
TAKKe TAkke .. this was a surprise . first i felt , wat a bad song ! but on repeated hearing , that sound of that kids is so lovely and special . Never heard like that in any song b4 .
Mangal mangal ... is inspiring . Great words too . It will be more popular after the movie release .
Holi song is average . but sure will catch up later .
Overall , album is good . Not extrordinary . enjoyable .
It will go well after the movies release . Perceptions bound to shift to a higher level .
But one thing i learned from this ... We need to gauge our expectations based more on the director . We cant expect a mani like or subash ghai like track from a film by Ketan Mehta .
To be frank , I am not tooo confident abt the director's musical sense and ability . His movie " Oh Darling ! yeh hai india " clears shows that . This shah rukh starrer sank with out a trace . It had good music but all situational songs , some thing like a musical dialogues . Direction was not upto the mark .
I have a complaint that YASH RAJ music company is not yet all promoting THE RISING like they did for BUNTY AUR BUBLY .it needs a lot of patience and time to spot a promo of the THE RISING . Is it planned so ? i doubt the intentions .
The best factor abt the movie will be AAMIR KHAN & AR Rahman . ExtremE professionalism and sheer taste of Aamir & the soundtrack of the movie by our dear BOSS is the USP of the movie .
I completely agree its high time that our Boss gives a pure commercial film in Hindi . two three pure Item songs on the lines of "dhoom machale " or "dus bahane " which has got nothing to do with the story and can be fitted any where as per wish . A party song is quite wanted frm ARR to push away the detractors . Lately , he is into all classics which has brought abt world class compositions . But all these gr8 music is failing to reach the mass audience .
over all "THE RISING " ALBUM IS REALLY WORTH IT . NOW , I CANT HATE IT ....... I LUV IT ....ITS SIMPLY SUPERB .
